Each parcel of fruit for Mitolo Jester, Shiraz is fermented on skins for 5 to 6 days at a cool temperature to enhance the pure berry fruit. The Mitolo Jester, Shiraz is then pressed and undergoes partial barrel fermentation. A natural malolactic fermentation is completed before the Mitolo Jester, Shiraz is racked.

Mitolo Jester, Shiraz is aged in 2-4 year old French oak for 9 months

Tasting Notes Deep cherry jube in colour, Jester Shiraz continues to show bright, vibrant, rich fruit. A revelation of blue and black berries, there is mocha and a hint of spice on the nose. The palate exhibits focused, genuine fruit and subtle, yet structured, tannins support a velvety elongated finish.

Mitolo Jester, Shiraz will cellar well for 6 to 8 years.

Martín Códax combines tradition with innovation to bring you today's hottest wine styles from Spain's oldest and most pretigious regions.
The co-operative was founded in 1986 by a group of winemakers led by ninth generation winemaker Luciano Amoedo and currently comprises 2,400 tiny vineyard parcels individually managed by 550 families. Martín Códax was instrumental in the creation of the Rías Baixas DO in 1988 (in fact the statutes were signed at the winery) and are estate-grown Albariño specialists, conducting ongoing research into the variety.
Bright, straw-yellow in colour. Intensely perfumed, with hints of fresh herbs, green apples, citrus fruit and grapefruit. It is long, rounded and full bodied on the palate, with a light petillance that gives the wine a vivacious, fresh finish.

Bodegas Lan Reserva had Gold Medal at London International Wine Challenge and at Challenge International du Vin du France and also the Prix d´Excellence CIVART.
Dubbed by Wine Spectator as possibly the hottest old winery in Rioja”, Bodegas LAN is a consistent producer of phenomenal Rioja, in both traditional and modern styles. Their winery is located in the heart of Rioja Alta and is named after the initials of the three provinces in Rioja: Logroño (now La Rioja), Álava and Navarra. The winery’s painstaking attention to detail in the vineyard as well as their complex oak ageing system are major factors in LAN’s continued success. ‘An intense minty nose of blackberry, smoke and grilled meats. The palate is medium-bodied with a tarry, leathery entry. The tannins are fine and linear, the finish classic in style with a dash of white pepper and tar. This is a very well-made Gran Reserva drinking beautifully now, but certainly it has the substance to keep. Cien y Pico `Doble Pasta`


This exciting new producer is based in Manchuela, a small region in south-eastern Spain. The name Cien y Pico means "Hundred and something" and refers to the age of the ancient Garnacha Tintorera and Bobal vines from which these wines are made.
Cien y Pico `Doble Pasta` is made using the ‘doble pasta’ method, whereby the crushed grapes are fermented over additional grape skins and pulp, to obtain a high extract, colour and tannin. Fermentation took place in small open vats on the skins for 10 days before just 20% was aged in new Radoux oak barrels for 19 months. Doble Pasta was bottled under screwcap in December 2011.
Cien y Pico `Doble Pasta` is a deep purple in colour with youthful violet tints. On the nose a fantastic range of blueberries, black plums and cherries mixes with touches of fresh bay leaf, lavender and a hint of rose petal. On the palate red fruits such as raspberries and loganberries combine with darker hints of juicy blackberries and herbal notes. Dark cocoa notes and a layer of savoury meatiness appear later. Rich and full-bodied, with smooth tannins, good levels of natural acidity and a long, presistent, perfumed finish.
